Common questions

Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan requires no payment details — just sign up and generate up to 10 images per month.
What counts as a generation?
Each call to the generation API counts as one. Viewing an existing og:image or re-downloading a previously generated image does not count.
Can I use MakeOG via API?
Yes — Pro and Team plans include API access. Generate a key from your dashboard and authenticate with Authorization: Bearer <key>.
What happens if I hit my monthly limit?
Generation requests will return a 429 until your quota resets on the 1st of the next month. You can upgrade at any time to restore access immediately.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch billing periods at any time from your dashboard. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first payment if you're not satisfied. Contact us at support@makeog.com.
